The following word document and accompanying PowerPoint presentation was a research paper that I completed last summer for one of Fordham's graduate literacy classes, CTGE 6532. I asserted within the paper that the Internet has a positive affect on students' literacy skills. This will provide a clearer idea of my prior knowledge related to the Internet's affect on literacy.Within the PowerPoint, I also included information about how to assess websites' authenticity. This can be compared to how I now conceptualize teaching Internet search skills, which is discussed in my written reflection.
